28th May 2011 Times change, and technology changes faster. Ten years ago, when this site started up, the online landscape was very different both in terms of the technology and the emphasis of social media. This site suffered a bit of neglect in late 2010 and early 2011 but has now been redesigned under the covers to make it easier to maintain and to introduce a different access control method. Nowadays, you'll also find David active in other areas of the interwebby...

Welcome to my website. That's me, David Alexander Powell. Like the picture? The pages in this site showcase the phenomenon that is me, the centre around which the universe rotates. (Don't worry, it's okay for a 13 year old to think that way, it isn't a sign of latent megalomania.) The real audience for these pages are my family and friends living in distant places who do not get to see me very often. Distant from the United States of America, that is. Yes, I have now moved from the Isle of Man. However, everyone is welcome!

The site started out as simply a monthly online diary, with brief news and pictures. It expanded to add a photo gallery and more recently has added a whole sub-section on my Taekwondo activities.
